So...without further ado (is that a word, really?) here is our FEATURED QUESTIONS from recent e-mails:
Q: (From F. Walker): Is LaDeana Michelle gay, straight or bi? I wanna know now, before the media has a chance to exploit. You know how they do.
A: We do know how things can be misconstrued. However....we can set the record straight for you. LaDeana Michelle is straight. She has always liked men---no confusion there...and please believe--as sure as the sun sets, they love her. However, the gay community loves and supports her, too, because she has never been one to judge them or treat them any differently for being what they are. Not to mention when she goes to their clubs to perform, she sings DOWN. They LOVE that!
Q: (From L. Perry): Why on earth is LaDeana Michelle's official Myspace page not up yet?
A: It's coming---if I'm not mistaken---in the next week or so...but that wasn't your question, was it? Quite frankly, this was part of a plan from her camp---to NOT release an official Myspace page first before other things were completed. Whatever the case is, we will announce the unveiling as soon as we get word. Be sure to add yourself as a friend!
Q: (From C. H. Barber): The SEVEN video is so cool. What's the deal with the guy dancing with LaDeana Michelle? He's cute. Who is that? Is he a real interest? Is it the same guy in some of the actual pictures?
A: The SEVEN video IS cool, right? His name is John---handsome guy, we know. He is a friend of LaDeana Michelle's who agreed to film with her the day her actual leading guy had unexpected scheduling conflicts. No, he is NOT the same guy in the still images--though all the fellas look good, don't they?
Q: (From W. Michaux): Are all of the songs on SEVEN going to be on LaDeana Michelle's album?
A: A few are--that's it. The rest are all new----and trust us when we say this----spectacular!
Q: (From N. Harvey): I heard through the wind that LaDeana Michelle puts together her own videos. Is this true?
A: Yes, it is true! When we said there is not much that LaDeana Michelle CAN'T do, we weren't kidding. She's even taken care of video treatments/scripts for her future full-length music videos already! Her mind is incredible--always thinking. She's just not the bragging type, so folks are always surprised when she pulls rabbits out of hats. Hmmm...she can probably do THAT....
Q: (From Q. Jones): Is LaDeana Michelle from Oakland or from Tiburon? I've seen both on some of her sites.
A: LaDeana Michelle hails from Oakland, CA, but spends a great deal of time in Tiburon (she LOVES being near the water) and plans to buy a home there. She loves Tiburon because she says it " aids" her creativity and puts her at peace. In fact, she is scheduled to finalize editing on one of her films there in 2009. Guess she's on the right track---many famous writers and directors also call Tiburon home!
Q: (From L. Hawkins): LaDeana Michelle's "Believe" is beautiful! We didn't know it had a groove to it. Most positive songs are slow and boring, but "Believe" is the jam knock!
A: LaDeana Michelle is a positive, upbeat person, and just writes what she feels. It is IN her. She does not set out to say, " I'm going to write a positive song". She just goes for it. She loves grooves--and things you can slam in the car--since that is where she does all of her critical listening. Besides...the word "boring" has no place in her life. There will be many surprises from LaDeana Michelle. 2009 will be shocking!
Q: (From B. Brewer): I woke up early this morning and went to download " " Believe" and I couldn't find it! WTF?
A: You and a quadrillion other people! WE couldn't even find it---imagine that! Here's the skinny...there was a problem with " Party A" who was supposed to handle that arena while LaDeana Michelle was away in Santa Barbara on business (she couldn't triple check at the time). Put it this way...WE didn't even get the clearance until this evening. Yes, all was available today--just a wee bit later than we all had hoped for. Guess " Party A" is up for the chopping block? They'd better " Believe" in miracles. Anyway, you can download it now, by going to www.ladeanamichelle.com or www.ladeanamichelle.net. I will warn you, though...we are more fun over here at www.ladeanamichelle.net! Probably should download it from our site! Ha!
Q: (From H. Polk): LaDeana Michelle should do a duet with either Carl Thomas, Avant, Robin Thicke or JOE. Does she have any plans for this?
A: People have been suggesting Robin Thicke and Joe (perfect!) for quite some time now. As far as duets go for Avant and Carl Thomas? Both of those men would work! Everyone you mentioned has a voice that would produce chill bumps on a good song with LaDeana Michelle. We know she wants to do one with Mint Condition! We have not heard of any definite duet plans yet, but we will keep you posted.
Q: (From P. Fitzgerald): Is LaDeana Michelle a slow song artist?
A: Though she absolutely LOVES slow songs (did I mention that she loves slow songs?) she is NOT just a balladeer. Wait until the actual album drops - you will see. As a producer, she can do all KINDS of music and styles, but as you know, she is known for those heartfelt slow and medium grooves that we love.
Q: (From M. Hilliard): I read that critics don't like the idea of LaDeana Michelle releasing " Believe" free. Why not?
A: Well, many people know the level of LaDeana Michelle's talent and they think she is being too generous with her material. What they forget, is her level of business smarts--and the level of smarts belonging to her business partners and advisors. If it weren't an appropriate move, it would not be done. There is always a method to LaDeana Michelle's madness!
Q: (From J. Lewis): It says LaDeana Michelle's "Believe" is free once you download another of her featured tracks. Which song will we get to download?
A: We are not sure yet. As soon as we get word from LaDeana Michelle's camp, about which song it is, we will let everyone know.
Q: (From H. Hart): I recently saw a MySpace page that said " Official Site""" for LaDeana Michelle. Can you confirm if it has been released?
A: None of LaDeana Michelle's "Official" sites have been released yet. All of what you see has been put up by other huge fans, just like us, who recognize the talent! You will know when any of the "Official" sites release. We will have it posted here and the word will get out elsewhere.
Q: (From L. O'Conner): What is happening on 12/12?
A: On that? Your guess is better than ours. We THINK that one of her "Official" websites will be releasing, or something to that effect. It would certainly make sense--especially with her " Believe" song releasing on 12/19.
Q: (From V. Smith): Is it true that LaDeana Michelle doesn't smoke or drink? Somebody also said she doesn't cuss. That's impossible!
A: LaDeana Michelle does NOT actively smoke or drink. She would be the LEAST likely candidate to end up in a drug rehabilitation center. She does NOT cuss (to our knowledge). Trust me...we've hounded sources about the cussing part. Apparently, no one we've ever spoken to has heard her say one. But hey...she probably THINKS what the rest of us say! That counts, doesn't it?
Q: (From E. Aubrey): What female singers does LaDeana Michelle like?
A: Whitney Houston has been LaDeana Michelle's front-runner for years. She really loves the voices of India Arie and Heather Headley. Her all-around entertainer title would probably go to Beyonce, if we had to guess. Of course, she admires her legends Aretha Franklin, Gladys Knight, Chaka Khan, Tina Turner--you know the typical legend line-up. We will let LaDeana Michelle's camp know to feature her "favorites" on her upcoming blog--this way, we don't skip anybody. We're sure there are others we have left out.
Q: (From W. Livingston): I thought I saw LaDeana Michelle at the LA Auto show this Thanksgiving weekend, but I wasn't sure, so I didn't pursue. If that was her, she was always surrounded. Do you know if she was there?
A: Our guy, Mike, was there Thanksgiving Weekend--the Friday of. He confirmed she was there....spending time next to her favorite autos. She could be found near the Aston Martin, CL 5500, Bentley Continental GT, or the white Range Rover. She was also there at some point when the show first came to LA. LaDeana Michelle is about as into cars as any males we know! Here, she is pictured in a Jag XK Convertible. Go figure.
Q: (From Z. Casey): When is LaDeana Michelle's album coming out?
A: We personally are not sure of the exact date, but from what we hear....her upcoming album is going to be SOOOOOO good!!!! As soon as we hear any news about it, we will post it on THE FRONT of this site!
Q: (From L. Howard): What are LaDeana Michelle's favorite sports? I want to know where we can catch her.
A: Catch her if u can! She moves like a ghost. However, this exciting girlie LOVES basketball. She digs football, too, but if u have ANY prayer at all of catching her, it would most likely be at a basketball event.
Q: (From S. Johnson): It says LaDeana Michelle is a CEO. MOST celebs are a**holes. How is SHE to work for?
A: She is wonderful. Unlike most, really. She doesn't judge people and lets those who help her be themselves--do what THEY do best. She is positive, encouraging, fun and rewards those WELL who have her back! She is about her business, but doesn't like to work without fun in between.
Q: (From B. Cole): It's hard to believe that beautiful woman is THAT NICE. What's the real deal on LaDeana Michelle? Dish the truth, please.
A: Sorry, but LaDeana Michelle IS generally "that nice" as you call it. She's very humble, sweet, respectful of people and their lives. From our research, that's always BEEN her. Don't bother her, she won't bother you. However, DON'T mistake her kindness for weakness. That is one young lady you DON'T want to get mad! It takes a lot, but when it happens.......OMG! We can't imagine her on a "find love" type of show. She doesn't have the patience for all the bickering. She would flatten somebody for sure!
Q: (From T. Miller): Does LaDeana Michelle NOT like working with other producers?
A: She loves working with other producers. She's VERY open to that--especially ones that everyone else is not running to. Thing is...she's self-sufficient, so she is ALWAYS writing, producing, recording, for example...like Prince does. If it's done and it's hot, it gets used!
Q: (From K. Collins): I'm on Twitter. Is that really LaDeana Michelle on there, or is someone writing for her? If it is her, she is hilarious!
A: LaDeana Michelle is really on Twitter. She insists on maintaining that kind of stuff herself--especially since that is the kind of site one can access from anywhere (cell, etc.). You are correct---she IS hilarious! Her mind is amazing. There's no telling what will come out of it day-to-day!
Q: (From L. Woods): Who are LaDeana Michelle's favorite male music artists?
A: We know she loves Ne-Yo (did we say Ne-Yo???), R. Kelly, Carl Thomas, Tyrese, Maxwell, Robin Thicke and new Chicago artist Slique. Additional nods go to Avant, Ludacris (one of her favorite rappers) and her favorite groups Mint Condition, Boys II Men and Jagged Edge (she has every album these groups ever made). Oh--we almost forgot one of her true favorites males. She misses D'Angelo! Where fore art thou?
